The Fonz is BackThe Fonz is back and he's cooler than ever. According to the folks at Autoblog Green, an older and wiser Fonz is strutting his stuff in the UK in a Lexus hybrid teaching reading to the children. What's NOT cool about that? Over at Gizmodo, they have a story about the Feds trying to hold up solar implementation. Write your congressman and tell him/her what you think about such...federal employees, they can find someone to handle this. It's officially official now. Mozilla Firefox 3 is a guiness book of world re...

A bunch of his buddies and he did this thing where they each bought a car for under $1,000 and drove them to Vegas through Reno. There was a scavenger hunt along the way, but basically the whole point was to keep your vehicle on the...

So I'm sitting down to get started on a project. I'm going to make these. I'm chatting with a friend, and mention how Tim Burton-esque they are. As I will do with almost anything, I type "Tim Burton" into the search bar of Firefox, and find myself watching this on YouTube: So of course then I must go to speed-painting.com for even more of a reminder of all the creative skill and technical talent...

DunesDunes Originally uploaded by lavachickie We headed out to the Coos Bay area Friday for camping at Sunset Bay State Park. Wonderful park with great camping. We had reserved a site just a bit over a week ago, and it was a winner thanks to our patented process (avoid playgrounds, across from but not next to bathrooms/showers, on the outside of loops and look for spaces that look to have a bit...

Thinking down the road to this Fall and Winter.... We are thinking of organizing a small cadre of tech savy persons to visit you and your computer. They will set up Firefox on your computer, Make your computer display large print adjusted to your taste (throw those reading glasses away ). Big icons for older eyes. Have your desktop show large icons. Generally, make your computer more...
