I was first turned on to Shiny Toy Guns back in 2005 or so. They opened for Bob Mould down at the Doug Fir. The bands music, I thought, was good and the energy was something else. They've made a huge point about being accessible to their fans, hanging out after shows to sign posters and cds, and making small talk with uberfans who were tens years older and bald.
