Meta tags tell the world a bit about your site. Here are some instructions that might be helpful:
Get Specific
If you want to give a more precise location than an Oregon city, you can use the GeoURL Header Generator to get a location meta tag with more specific coordinates.

Keep in mind that the GeoURL Generator will let the world know your precise location. This ORblogs Tags Generator only lets people know which city you're in.

Here's the fastest way to add your tags to a Blogger-powered weblog.

1. Copy the meta tags.
Copy the meta tags created by the ORblogs Tag Generator by highlighting the tags, right-clicking with your mouse, and choosing Copy. (Command-click for the menu if you're on a Mac.) Copying the tags should look like this:

2. Go to Blogger, log in.
Once logged in, you should see a list of your blogs at your Dashboard.
3. Click the title of your blog.
Find the title of the blog you added to ORblogs and click the title. You should find yourself at the post-editing page.
4. Click the template tab.
At the top of the page you'll see a series of tabs: Posting, Settings, Template, View Blog. Click Template, and you'll see a large form, like this:

5. Find the correct spot in your template.
Position your cursor between the closing </title> tag and the <$BlogMetaData$> tag, and right-click your mouse. (Mac users: command click.) You should see a menu like this:

6. Click Paste and Save Template Changes.
Highlight Paste on the menu and click to add the tags you copied in Step 1:

Once you've pasted the tags, click the orange Save Template Changes button at the bottom of the page.
7. Republish.
Now you've added the tags, but you need to publish them for the outside world. Click the blue Republish button.

That's it! You've added custom meta tags to your weblog, and let the world (including ORblogs) know a little bit more about you and your site. ORblogs picks up meta tag additions or changes within 48 hours.
