The biggest problem McCain has faced in drawing support so far has been in energizing the conservative Republican base. Well, after hearing listener response on Rush and the opening of the Hannity show, I think that problem has been solved... at least, for now... Folks from all across America are repeating many of the things I said in the post directly below this one. I predict a massive surge for...

I will be honest and blunt. For months now, I have been encouraging conservatives and Republicans to rally around John McCain, not because I believed he was the right man for the job, but because I believe Barack Obama would be far, far worse. But I often say that a President can make up for a shortcoming by surrounding himself with a solid cabinet. Well, we can all breathe a sigh of relief knowing that, once inaugurated, our 44th President will have brilliant men like Clooney by his side....Todays headlines from the Drudge Report: Russia expands blitz. Defiant Putin accuses USA of helping Georgia. Ethnic cleansing. Even CBS and ABC are finally running war stories on their front pages. Of course, NBC news seems to only include Olympic coverage... Meanwhile, looks like the Russian propaganda police are patrolling the blogs...

And I am not talking movies. No, I am talking about the Soviet Empire, the Evil Empire. The Evil Empire that is rolling tanks across the border of its neighbor in an expansionist grab for land and power. Of course, there is no "Soviet Union" anymore, right? Now it is Russia and they are our friends. Hah! When the Russians put Vladimir Putin, an ex-KGB officer, in charge, they signaled to the...
