As my baby turns a month old tomorrow, I notice I haven't really been posting here and more on my baby blog. I started this blog to document my life in Bend and now that I'm documenting my life in Bend as a mother on another blog, I think it's time to direct everyone to that blog called "No Longer Knocked Up in Bend" (if you can come up with something more catchier, let me know....

I got a call this morning that a tornado ripped through Millard, Nebraska, blowing away part of my aunt and unlces home. Thankfully, no one was hurt but you can see them in this story on KETV.com....

It appears that Zach is getting the cat door. The past few days they've been stuck in the garage when Brian leaves for work and when he comes home at lunch, they are in the house. So I guess he's not as stubborn as I thought....

We installed a cat/dog door from our house to the garage. My husband insisted because he doesn't want to smell the litter box while working from home (but he can work with piles of clutter and band equipment in his office -- go figure). When I lived in Nebraska, I would spend Mother's Day planting flowers in honor of my mother. Since moving to Bend, planting flowers don't happen until after Memorial Day and the last few years, I've been at a loss.
