Portland SkiesYesterday, a very warm sunny day transformed into a slightly cooler, rainy day. In the evening there were fantastic thunder and lightening storms. Driving home from southeast Portland, headed west I was struck by fact that another striking Portland sunset sky was forming right in front of my eyes. I love the painted illustrations of artist and children's book author Calef Brown. His bold use of color and whimsical imagery, I could look at his artwork all day. There is something very soothing about picking up one of his fully-illustrated kid's books, and just thumbing through the pages.
